Saint Nicholas in Antwerp on 12 November!
Saint Nicholas has announced that he will be arriving in the northern Belgian port city of Antwerp on 12 November. The saint's early arrival gives him plenty of time to prepare for his 6 December name day when all good children will expect a visit from the holy man and loads and loads of presents.

Saint Nicholas sent news of the date of his arrival by telegramme from Spain, where he spends the rest of the year. His arrival by boat will be televised by national TV.
The saint accompanied by his faithful servant Black Peter will be welcomed by the Mayor of Antwerp, Bart De Wever. He will then proceed from his mooring to Antwerp's market square where he will address children from the balcony of city hall. Large crowds are expected and everybody is welcome!
