An all-Belgian Europa League clash
The draw has been made for the final 16 round of this season’s Europa League. Whatever happens we are certain of a least one Belgian club competing in the quarter finals as AA Gent and Racing Genk have been drawn to play each other in next month’s two-leg final 16 tie.

The other Belgian team through to the final 16, Sporting Anderlecht will take on the Cypriot side APOEL Nicosia. Anderlecht will travel to Cyprus for the first leg before playing host to the Cypriots on
The first leg of the ties will be played on Thursday 9 March with the return leg to be played a week later on Thursday 16 March.
The final of this season’s Europa League will take place in Stockholm on 24 May.
