King Filip celebrates 200 years of the Netherlands

Belgium's King Filip and Queen Mathilde were in the Dutch city of Maastricht on Saturday to join in with the celebrations to mark the bicentenary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Belgium formed part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands from 1815 until 1830 and the Belgian Revolution.

The Belgian royals attended the celebrations together with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands and the Grand duke and Grand duchess of Luxembourg.

The royals went to a concert and watched a fashion show with dresses by Peter George d'Angelo Tap representing European countries and their rivers.
