Vanhaezebrouck makes comeback at KVK

In football, Hein Vanhaezebrouck replaces Georges Leekens as KV Kortrijk coach. Leekens left the West-Flemish club to become the national team coach last month.

Vanhaezebrouck will sign a three-year contract at the club next week. It's a comeback for him at KV Kortrijk after a short spell at KRC Genk, the Limburg club where he was sacked due to poor results and after a conflict with the management last season.

Vanhaezebrouck was already at the helm of KV Kortrijk between 2006 and 2009. He steered the second-division club to the top flight in 2008. Vanhaezebrouck, who also worked as a commentator for television, will be presented at KV Kortrijk next week.
