Club Brugge keep Anderlecht off the top spot

Zulte Waregem (23 points) stand alone on top of the Belgian pro league this Monday morning following their 2-0 win against Lokeren. Anderlecht are hot on their heels (21 points) despite their stunning 2-1 defeat at the hands of Club Brugge, now fourth on 19 points.

Charleroi (20 points) are third after their goalless away draw against Westerlo. The eleventh day of play in the Belgian top flight was a success for Standard de Liège, now on the 5th spot with 19 points. Standard trounced Waasland-Beveren 5-0 at home. Waasland-Beveren are in the relegation zone.

Eupen, now in the 13th spot, treated visitors AA Gent (6th on 18 points) to a 3-2 humiliation.Oostende (7th on 18 points) suffered a 2-2 draw at home in the West Flemish derby against Kortrijk (9th).

Limburg's pride, Racing Genk, are 8th on 17 points after a 1-0 home win against Sint-Truiden (14th). Well done, Racing Genk!
