Zulte Waregem still top after 7 games

In the 7th day of play in the Belgian First Division, Zulte-Waregem’s 2-1 win in the West Flemish derby against KV Kortrijk sees them remain top of the league. Meanwhile, the were important wins for Sporting Anderlecht (2-0) away at KRC Genk and Club Brugge (3-2 at home against KAS Eupen). Standard de Liège enjoyed their 2nd win in 2 games under their new coach Aleksandar Janković.

KV Oostende continued their excellent start to the season with a 1-0 home win against AA Gent. Meanwhile, Westerlo’s woes continue.

The bottom club lost again this time against 3-1 at home against Excel Mouscron.
