Charleroi in pole position in play-off final

In the first leg of the play-off final between the winner of Play-off II Sporting Charleroi and the team that finished 4th in play-off Racing Genk, it was Charleroi that stole the show with a 2-0 win.

Charleroi was in attacking mood and was by far the better side during the first half. However, the despite having plenty of chances, including a penalty kick that was saved, the Zebras failed to score.

The winner of the two-leg final earns a place in the preliminary round of next season’s UEFA Champions League.
