Hayman beats Boonen into second place in Paris-Roubaix race
Mathew Hayman completed the 257.5 kilometre course from Compiègne to Roubaix in 5 hours, 51 minutes and 53 seconds.
His win came as a complete surprise, as he hadn't been listed among the favourites before the race, and also because he had been part of the long, early breakaway. Hayman kept Tom Boonen from a record 5th victory.
