AA Gent trio in Wilmots’ Red Devils squad

The Belgian national football team coach Marc Wilmots has announced his squad for Belgium’s forthcoming Euro 2016 qualifying matches against Andorra on October 10 and Israel on 13 October. With a number of Red Devils regulars out through injury, Marc Wilmots had to go on the lookout for fresh blood.

There is good news for no fewer than three players from the champions AA Gent Matz Sels, Sven Kums and Laurent Depoitre have all received their first call up to play for their country.

Luis Pedro Cavanda, a defender with the Turkish champions Trabzonspor, is the fourth newcomer to the Red Devils squad. KV Oostende’s Jordan Lukaku and Valencia’s Zakaria Bakkali are also included in Marc Wilmots’.
