Eneco Tour success for Tim Wellens
Manuel Quinziato (photo), is a teammate of the Belgian cyclists Philippe Gilbert and Greg Van Avermaet.
He was first over the finishing line at the end of the 188.6km stage from Sint-Pieters-Leeuw in Flemish Brabant to Geraardsbergen in east Flanders.
The Italian launched his attack 6km from the finish and was able to break free of the other two cyclists that were leading the race Björn Leukemans and Yves Lampaert. Quinziato was able to keep his lead up until the finishing line on the infamous Geraardsbergen Wall.
Björn Leukemans came in 2nd (3 seconds behind) and Yves Lampaert was 3rd, 8 seconds behind the Italian.
