All metro stations reopened, except for Maalbeek

All Brussels metro stations operated by the Brussels public transport company MIVB/STIB have reopened. Only the stop in Maalbeek, where the bomb attack took place on 22 March, will remain closed until all the works to repair the damage have been finished.

All metro stations will be open between 6AM and 10PM. Security measures remain in place, with police and soldiers patrolling the sites. For the same reason, it's possible that some entrances or exits remain closed.

Metro services had gradually resumed after the 22 March bomb attacks. Last Monday, a new step was taken and 51 of the 69 metro stations had become accessible. However, opening hours were between 7AM and 9PM.
