Brussels buses stopping at Brussels Airport

The Brussels local transport company, the MIVB, has resumed services to Brussels Airport. The service was suspended following the Brussels attacks on 22 March in which 32 people were killed both at the airport and at Maalbeek metro station.

De Lijn buses started stopping at the airport again on Wednesday. Train services are yet to resume.

Brussels buses need to take a new, different route, which is much narrower. The new route was tested on Wednesday. A new test with passengers was carried out this morning. It was a success and the go-ahead for a resumption was given.
