Brexit: End to UK passport controls in Belgium?

In an interview with America's Wall Street Journal the Belgian Prime Minister, Charles Michel, has rounded on those backing a British exit from the European Union. Mr Michel told the paper that some of the proponents of Brexit were dreaming in Technicolor.

The Belgian leader ruled out a further renegotiation of the UK's relationship with the EU that would allow the UK government to hold a second referendum adding it was likely that other agreements would fall away too. While insisting that he didn't want to be involved in the campaigning in the UK Mr Michel suggested one such agreement that would be under threat would be the one granting the ability for UK immigration officials to carry out passport controls on Belgian soil as happens at the minute at the Brussels South Station.
