Another house search as part of Paris terror investigation

Another property in the Brussels municipality of Sint-Jans-Molenbeek has been searched as part of the ongoing investigation into the terrorist attacks in Paris on 13 November 2015. News of the search comes from the Federal Judicial Authorities. One person has been taken away for questioning. Another house search took place on Wednesday after.

One person has been taken away for questioning. Another house search took place on Wednesday after. Then too one person was detained for questioning. Both men will appear today before an Examining magistrate who will decide whether they are to remain in custody.

Wednesday’s search took place on the Gentsesteenweg. 29-year-old Zakaria J was detained by police. On Thursday morning a house on the Isidoor Teirlinckstraat was searched. There 34-year-old Mustafa E. was taken away for questioning.

The Judicial Authorities’ Spokesman Eric Van Der Sypt told journalists that "Both men are being questioned because they are suspected of having links with various people connected to the case”.

Mr Van Der Sypt added that "The Examining Magistrate will decide later today whether they are to be detained.
