Famous shoes hit Antwerp
The exhibition Footprint - The Tracks of Shoes in Fashion has opened in Antwerp's fashion museum the MoMu. It allows the general public to become familiar with some 600 shoe designs from across the history of walking wear.
One of the highlights of this exhibition are these platform shoes worn by Naomi Campbell and designed by Vivienne Westwood. The shoes stand 23 cm tall and it was in 1993 that Naomi Campbell fell on the catwalk while wearing these very shoes.
