No more problems with Proximus

The Telecom operator Proximal says that problems its customers had been encountering when trying to make calls from their landline have now been resolved. On Monday, customers in a number of areas of the country were unable to make calls from or receive calls on their landlines.

Both private and commercial companies were affected by the technical problem.

Proximal engineers worked though out the day to resolve the issues and late on Monday evening a press statement was released saying that they had been resolved.

Proximus’ Jan Margot told journalists there had been technical issues with a network that works via an alternative circuit and is mainly used by Proximus’ commercial clients. Nevertheless, many domestic customers also had trouble using their land lines on Monday.
