Drunk driver gives police a tinkle
It has emerged that a motorist who was found to be over the drink-drive limit on the Leuven Brussels motorway had himself first called the police. The driver whose vehicle had come to a standstill on the hard shoulder claimed that his car had broken down.
Police officers were quick to notice that the vehicle's petrol tank was empty. The driver was then breathalysed revealing that he was over the drink-drive limit. He had his driving licence withdrawn for a fortnight.
