Man drives car into neighbour’s living room
Belgians are world famous for their reserved character and are often encouraged to get to know their neighbours a little more closely. One resident in the Kinderstraat of Lommel may have taken this encouragement a little too far as he has now driven his motor car into the living room of the neighbours living opposite.
The elderly gentleman was carrying out a manoeuvre on his drive and had the gears in reverse. He put his foot down a little too hard and careered down the drive at high speed, across the street and into his neighbour's front garden. His car only came to a standstill once it had reached the neighbour's living room.
Neighbour Kay Pauwels was in her front room at the time and escaped without injury. The unfortunate driver too is unscathed.
