“Sing-along-number” for Red Devils’ campaign
The Flemish DJ duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have released the official Belgian national team song for this summer’s European Football Championships in France. The song is entitled ‘Melody’ and was recorded at the request of the Belgian Football Association.
The video that accompanies the song is being directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah and will be released on 11 May.
Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike made ‘Melody’ a year ago in Los Angeles with Steve Aoki and Ummet Ozcan. "The idea was to make something that the whole stadium could sing along to”, Dimitri Vegas said on Friday morning on the VRT’s radio stations Studio Brussel and MNM. "It needed to be a catchy melody and I think that we are not too wide of the mark”.
The video directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will be released on 11 May and according to Dimitri Vegas will be “absolutely fantastic. Click here to hear the song
