Man stabbed to death in the centre of Brussels

A man has died after being stabbed in the centre of Brussels on Tuesday morning. The stabbing happened on the Anneessenplein, a square just a few hundred metres away from the historic heart of the capital. As yet few details have emerged about the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.

However, the Brussels Judicial authorities have said that it happened at around 6am. There were no witness and the perpetrator is still at large.

The victim’s identity still remains a mystery as he didn’t have any identity paper on him when he was found.

The judicial authorities, a police surgeon and the Federal Police forensic unit are attending the scene of the stabbing.
