Rainbow-coloured zebra crossings for Antwerp Pride

As Antwerp gets ready for a 5-day long festival of LGBT culture the port city has painted two zebra crossings on the Suikerrui in the colours of the rainbow, the symbol of the LGBT rights movement. Other zebra crossings elsewhere in the city are likely to follow. The decision to allow the re-painting of the zebra crossings was taken at a meeting of Antwerp City Council.
